As we expand our portfolio support capabilities, we are seeking a Web3 Social Engagement Manager to help our portfolio companies build vibrant communities, manage social media presence, and drive user engagement through Web3-native social strategies.

Project Overview

The Web3 Social Engagement Manager will lead community building and social media strategies for Panga Ventures portfolio companies, focusing on Web3-native engagement tactics, community governance, and decentralized social media platforms. This role requires deep understanding of Web3 communities, token-based incentives, and social engagement strategies that drive protocol adoption and user retention. If you have experience building Web3 communities and understand how social engagement drives crypto project success, this is an excellent opportunity to impact multiple innovative projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive social engagement strategies for Panga Ventures portfolio companies across Twitter, Discord, Telegram, and emerging Web3 social platforms.
• Build and manage community programs including ambassador programs, governance participation, and user incentive campaigns.
• Create Web3-native content strategies that educate users about DeFi, tokenomics, and protocol mechanics.
• Design and implement token-based community incentive programs and social rewards mechanisms.
• Manage social media presence for portfolio companies including content creation, community moderation, and engagement optimization.
• Coordinate with portfolio companies on product launches, governance proposals, and community-driven initiatives.
• Analyze social media metrics and community engagement data to optimize strategies and measure impact.
• Represent portfolio companies at community events and facilitate cross-community collaborations.

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of social media and community management experience with 2+ years focused on Web3, DeFi, or crypto communities.
• Proven track record of building and growing engaged Web3 communities with measurable impact on project adoption.
• Deep understanding of Web3 community dynamics, governance participation, and token-based incentive structures.
• Experience with Discord, Telegram, Twitter Spaces, and emerging decentralized social platforms.
• Knowledge of DeFi protocols, tokenomics, and ability to explain complex Web3 concepts to diverse audiences.
• Strong content creation skills including writing, visual design, and video content for social media.
• Analytical skills for tracking community growth, engagement metrics, and social media performance.
• Experience working with early-stage companies or supporting multiple projects across a venture portfolio.
