Project Overview

The Web3 Strategist will serve as the primary strategic advisor for Web3-native growth initiatives across Panga Ventures' portfolio, focusing on token-based growth strategies, DAO governance optimization, and community-driven expansion tactics. This role requires deep expertise in Web3 growth mechanics, tokenomics design, and DAO governance structures to drive sustainable growth for innovative blockchain projects. If you have experience designing successful Web3 growth strategies and understand the intersection of tokenomics, governance, and community engagement, this is a high-impact strategic role.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive Web3 growth strategies for Panga Ventures portfolio companies including token incentive programs, community engagement, and DAO governance optimization.
• Design and optimize token-based growth mechanisms including liquidity mining, staking rewards, governance incentives, and yield optimization strategies.
• Lead DAO engagement initiatives including governance proposal development, community voting strategies, and decentralized decision-making optimization.
• Create cross-portfolio synergies through multi-token collaborations, DAO partnerships, and shared governance initiatives.
• Analyze on-chain data and governance metrics to optimize token distribution, voting mechanisms, and community participation.
• Collaborate with portfolio companies on strategic planning, tokenomics optimization, and long-term sustainability frameworks.
• Research emerging Web3 growth trends and governance innovations to inform strategic recommendations.
• Lead strategic workshops and advisory sessions with portfolio company founders on Web3-native growth tactics.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of strategic planning experience with 3+ years focused on Web3 growth strategies, tokenomics, or DAO governance.
• Proven track record of designing and implementing successful token incentive programs and Web3 growth strategies.
• Deep understanding of DAO governance mechanisms, token economics, and community-driven growth tactics.
• Experience with governance frameworks including veTokenomics, delegation models, and decentralized voting systems.
• Strong analytical skills for on-chain data analysis and tokenomics optimization.
• Knowledge of DeFi protocols, yield farming strategies, and liquidity incentive programs.
• Excellent strategic thinking and communication skills for presenting complex Web3 strategies to founders and investors.
• Experience working with early-stage companies or venture capital portfolio advisory.
